Ke Ana La‘ahana brought a lot of heart to the Armory’s volleyball court Thursday night against the Hilo Vikings. The Vikings took the game in straight sets, but Ke Ana did their best to make it an interesting one. The Vikings pulled out the first set by only two points, 25-23, and while the second set was not as close with a 25-13 score, it was exciting for everyone watching. By the third set, all the fans were cheering for both sides of the net, and everyone erupted in cheers when one of Ke Ana’s subs made both his first appearance in the game and his first dig. Hilo pulled out the win in the third set 25-17, but the score didn’t seem to matter as much as how everyone was having fun on the court, and after all, isn’t that the most important reason to play sports?
