Vacation guide Web site now in seven languages

MEDIA RELEASE/PRWEB

To-Hawaii.com is the first free online Hawaii travel guide available in seven languages.

The guide features articles about general Hawaii information, island attractions, beaches, hotels and maps, plus hundreds of original photos and videos, and interactive features, such as a chat and a discussion forum with several different categories.

Launched in 2006, the Web site now is available in English, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, German, French and Bulgarian.

“We receive many inquiries about Hawaii from people around the world on a daily basis. So we thought it was time to have our Web site translated into more languages,” said Yunonna Richards, marketing manager of To-Hawaii.com.

The travel guide was written by two residents who know the islands well and who have visited the places they wrote about. The guide features detailed and unbiased insider information about Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Lanai, Molokai, Niihau, Kahoolawe and the Big Island.

The general information section includes articles about hotels, attractions, things to do, island culture, language, hula, ukulele playing, schools, universities, climate and real estate.

The six island categories feature island-specific information. The Big Island section includes information about the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Kilauea, Mauna Loa and Hilo town.

Web site visitors will also find an information section about Hawaii’s beaches and ocean safety.
