Kona burglary of flat-screen TVs

The Hawai’i Police Department is looking for a man and a woman wanted for a burglary in Kailua-Kona on March 6. The suspects broke into a house on Ahulani Street and removed two Vizio flat-screen televisions with a combined value of more than $1,000.

Witnesses described the woman as Caucasian, about 25-to-30 years old with dark hair. The man was also believed to be Caucasian. At the time of the burglary, a dark red or burgundy pickup truck was backed into the driveway and a lime green Ford pickup truck was parked on Ahulani Street.

Police ask anyone with information about the case to call Detective Walter Ah Mow at 326-4646, extension 238, or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
