UH-Hilo pitcher Pedroza is PacWest pitcher of the week

University of Hawai‘i at Hilo pitcher *Christina Pedroza* has been selected the Pacific West Conference Pitcher of the Week (Mar. 2).

The sophomore right-hander posted a 2-1 week including a pair of shutout victories over Lock Haven University – the #1 team in Division II. During that period she a posted a 0.32 ERA in four appearances and had three complete games. She allowed just 10 hits while striking out 10 batters in 22 innings of work.

Lock Haven hit just .127 against her while she batted .421 at the plate, going 8 for 19 with three doubles, two RBI and one run scored.
