…WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM HST THURSDAY…

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HONOLULU HAS ISSUED A WIND ADVISORY…WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM HST THURSDAY.

WINDS ACROSS THE BIG ISLAND SUMMITS ARE CURRENTLY 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS REACHING 40 MPH AT TIMES. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH THROUGH EARLY TO MID MORNING TOMORROW.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT…ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
