Four Seasons Resort Hualalai Director of Finance Todd Swaggerty has been promoted to area director of finance.

In this new role, he will oversee the financial operations of Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, Four Seasons Resort Maui, the two Four Seasons properties on Lanai, and the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora.

 

His career in finance with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts started in April 1990 at Four Seasons Resort Santa Barbara. In 1995, he transferred to Four Seasons Hotel New York as assistant controller. With his knowledge of the German language, he assisted the pre- and post- opening phases of Four Seasons Hotel Berlin in 1996. In 1998, he was promoted to director of finance at Four Seasons Resort Maldives, moving on in 1999 to the Four Seasons Hotel Austin.

In January 2003, he moved to Hawaii to be director of finance at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai.

 

Swaggerty holds a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in International Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting, with a Minor in German language from Richmond College, London.

 

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is part of the master-planned 865-acre Hualalai Resort located on one-half mile of sandy beach along the Kona Coast. The 243-room hotel comprises 36 low-rise ocean view bungalows and was named “#1 Hotel in Hawai’i” by Zagat. The resort also received the prestigious AAA Five Diamond Award for the 11th consecutive year.
