Kona Coffee Farmers Calendar for 2009

MEDIA RELEASE

coffeecupcalendarLet our actual Kona coffee lady farmers guide you through the year in coffee; Miss January through to Miss November demonstrate what happens each month that brings hand-tended artisan Kona coffee to your cup.

These women say they care passionately about 100% Kona coffee, and are tired of seeing its gourmet name devalued by the  foreign blends that use the Kona name to fool customers.

The calendar is light hearted but its purpose is serious- to educate the public on what it really takes, month by month to produce this exceptional worldwide gourmet variety of coffee that is only grown in the Kona Districts of Hawaii Island.

All profits will go to the non-profit, and volunteer Kona Coffee Farmers Association to continue to fight the labeling law that allows this economic devaluation to continue.

Professionally photographed by renowned photographer Sue Dabritz of www.seapics.com, and printed on high quality paper, this is a unique, one-of-a kind gift.

“The Naked Truth About 100% Kona Coffee” calendar is currently featured in the December/January Hawaiian Airlines “Hana Hou Magazine” on page 30.

Available at many Kona side stores such as Choice Mart in Capt Cook, Borders in Kailua-Kona, or at  www.konacoffeefarmers.org. There is a Christmas Special on the Web site this week – buy 10 or more “Naked Truth About 100% Kona Coffee” Calendars, the cost is $6 each. Singly, they are $10.
