The Hilo office of the Planning Department, at Aupuni Center, is undergoing a renovation that will disrupt phone service until such time that a new digital phone system is installed some time in January 2009. Â
The Planning Department’s main phone line (961-8288) will remain operational, but the phone directory and extensions to individual employees may direct callers to the wrong person.Â
If callers experience difficulties in reaching a particular person, they are advised to leave a voice message so that someone can get back to them.Â
