MEDIA RELEASE
KAILUA KONA — Bruce Corker, president of the Kona Coffee Farmers Association, announced a fresh and updated Web site has just been launched. www.konacoffeefarmers.org
“We now have a lengthy list of farmers who will sell directly to Kona coffee connoisseurs worldwide. If you are interested in ordering “farm direct” Kona coffee, in coffee farm tours, or in overnight accommodations, our site offers you an extensive list of Kona coffee farm contacts.”
“Our Web site is easy to navigate, and provides you with quick direct links to Kona growers,” Corker said.
In addition to the “Buy Direct” listings, the Web site offers an introduction to the heritage of coffee cultivation in Hawaii’s Kona region.
The Kona Coffee Farmers Association was formed in February of 2006 and comprises more than 209 small Kona Coffee Farmers. The Kona Coffee Farmers Association’s mission is to promote and protect Kona farmers’ economic interests in 100% Kona coffee, to protect the Kona coffee heritage, and to seek greater legal protection of the Kona coffee name.
